About the Work:

No Candy by Emma Stanton is set in Bosnia in the aftermath of war, where a community of women rebuilds their lives amid loss, trauma, and political division. Through friendship, humour, and shared memories, the play explores the strength required not only to survive, but to begin living again.

Tea Alagić directed the world premiere of this moving play about resilience, remembrance, and the enduring power of women.
