About the Work:
Jackie, by Nobel Prize–winning playwright Elfriede Jelinek, is a solo work centered on Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and the public image constructed around her. Through clothes, photographs, memories, and fragments of language, the play examines love, death, power, and the transformation of a private woman into an American icon.

Tea Alagić directed the play’s 2013 North American premiere at Women’s Project Theater in New York, starring Tina Benko. The production received two Lucille Lortel Award nominations.
