About the Work:

On the rocky shores of Petty Harbour, Newfoundland, a fisherman’s house stands against an approaching storm. Three estranged sons return home to discover that their father has transformed the family house into a church.

As the storm closes in and the family is trapped together, old conflicts, stories, rituals, and buried histories emerge. Inspired by the structure of King Lear, Petty Harbour explores family, exile, faith, masculinity, belonging, and the struggle between generations.
