About the Work:
Lidless, by Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig, follows Alice, a former interrogator at Guantánamo Bay, fifteen years after she has left that part of her life behind. When Bashir, a former detainee dying from liver disease, arrives at her home, the past resurfaces and unsettles the life she has built.

Tea Alagić directed the U.S. premiere, exploring the lasting human consequences of war through questions of trauma, guilt, responsibility, revenge, and redemption.
